Flying on Delta’s newest flagship

Overview

Delta wanted to provide passengers an unforgettable experience onboard their upcoming flagship aircraft, the A350. They also wanted a way to familiarize passengers and staff with the new product offerings. All of this needed to be launched before we could get onboard the real aircraft.

My Contribution

As the Art Director at TRICK 3D, I led a team of artists to create Delta’s Virtual A350, and to produce several immersive VR experiences.

VR two ways

For immersive experiences VR was a must. We focused on two separate VR experiences, one to provide passengers an unforgettable travel and destination, and one to spotlight the best features of the A350.

Delta Destinations

This campaign let you experience the perspective of three passengers as they traveled on-board Delta’s A350
to visit unique destinations.

 Behind the scenes

To capture flights on a plane that didn’t exist we shot each talent separately on green-screen.

Each passenger was composited together with our digital A350.

Guided aircraft tours

Passengers could explore the A350 to learn about Delta’s latest product offerings. These tours were used worldwide to familiarize passengers and staff with the A350 prior to launch.
